A Local Encounter that Changed my Perspective - When are you coming back?

"When are you coming back?"

This I consider to be one of the sweetest words I've ever heard from a person I met during my trip to Bangkok, Thailand. This place is the first foreign country I've been to and now I can consider as my second home.

The busy streets leading to Platinum Shopping Center right across Pratunam shopping district, the street food stalls that sell all sorts of yummy Thai food such as Som Tum, Pad Thai, Tom Yum and Hoi Tod!

Oh how I love the extreme spiciness of each without losing the flavor! One of the most familiar "handy Thai phrase" among the tourists 'Mai Pet' which means 'not spicy' was not o any use to me at all! But my favorite one is "Hongnam Yunai?", and it means "Where is the toilet?"

I'm guessing you'd agree with me.

Milk tea hunting was also one of my 'travel mission' during my stay, and Thailand didn't fail me. Truly, not only the famous 'Thai tea' impressed my taste buds but all the milk tea flavors they serve! They even have it in all the 711 stores I visited!

There is no wonder why Thailand feels like a second home not only to me but to thousands of foreigners who fly in and out of here yearly.

But most importantly, I would say that what makes travelling "so amazing" for me are the people I meet and become my friends not only during my stay but even after I come home.

Now my answer to the question "When are you coming back?"

With a huge grin on my face and a sure heart, I say "soon!"
