I will write my story with traveling. First, I traveled to America. It was for one academic year. I have been always imagining me being traveling to the whole world. I love traveling so much but because of our financial facilities. I couldn’t travel that much by myself. But I was positive enough to do that by applying to scholarships and conferences that are fully funded. My first adventure started in America in North Carolina. I was a very open minded person to learn everything from everywhere. I spent most of that time traveling and doing a lot of things that I can’t do in my home town. I visited nine states; some was for pleasure and some in seeking adventures and some to attend conferences. I also, volunteered for so many hours to give my own time for the people in need.
Second, I traveled to Egypt in a leadership program for a month. During the program, we visited so many places to experience the culture, like the old Cairo and the new one, to learn about the Egyptians history. My second trip to Egypt was to visit Alexandria, in the same program, it was for five days only but I learned a lot. To be able to give Egypt some of my time, made me appreciate my life in Oman more.
My last trip was to Qatar to attend the Mosaic International Summit. This program was funded by the UK government. I met so many people from 17 different countries. The aim of this program was to create new ways and ideas to develop our countries and transform the power that we have to a good thing to benefit our communities. It was for ten days. I visited Al Jazzera Company. It is a news channel and Qatar Foundation and other organizations that deal with human rights especially when it comes to people with special needs.
And now I am in Oman, I work as an English Lecturer and I am so happy to dedicate my time for the students and the society.
I just love traveling.
