Spontaneity Overload

Juliene and I are second year film students at SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Both of us have filmed various commercials, documentaries and short films, and we are now ready to try something adventurous to broaden our skills. This would be an outstanding opportunity for us to utilize our knowledge of film in a new refreshing way. Mutually we share a passion for traveling and being able to capture these exploits on film would be amazing. Since we only found out about this opportunity 2 days before the deadline, we had to be spontaneous! Our video was inspired by the curiosity we share of trying new things in our city. We roamed the streets of down town, from unique restaurants to tattoo conventions, and even made time to admire our city's beautiful scenery. This scholarship would mean the world to us because we live and breathe the passion of film. We both agree that this could be an amazing kick start to hopefully long and fulfilling career in the world of film and media, and would also give us inspiring memories and experiences that would last a lifetime.
