My interest in geography and travel started while I was 10 years old. I was so eager to learn more that I started to see maps when I close my eyes and once I opened them I started drawing country boundaries, roads and rivers and then pointing the cities. Later, I was very passionate about the nowadays vintage old Praktica film camera which my father has. He explained me all the basics of the photography from the scientific and the art side. We did not have the opportunity to travel to far countries those days but we always took the camera with us for the daily trips in the mountains.
I graduated with tourism diploma and wanted my job to combine travel and photography. I dreamed to be part of the National Geographic team. I realized that it is very hard to be noticed and employed without good portfolio. So I changed career path to the IT and started saving money to buy photography gear to travel and shoot. I was participant in an exhibition regarding monasteries in the suburbs of the capital, but it is still not enough boost me to a career in travel photography.
I hope my pictures would be recognized in the future.
