To Friends and Family at Christmas

AUSTRALIA | Tuesday, 25 December 2012 | Views [376]

Dear family and friends

Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy good health and happiness and bring your dreams to life this coming year.

This year I am spending Christmas in Port Lincoln on the Lower Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, after cycling here from Adelaide (just over 400kms).

My first week here has been exciting and has included learning to play the ukelele, bodhran (Irish drum) and lagerphone, singing and rehearsing for some Christmas performances, catching King George Whiting, driving wheat harvesting machinery and getting a ride in a Grain Road Train!

Despite having great adventures along my journey, its often my `far away friends' who keep me going so thank you for your friendship and support this past year and please keep in touch.

I will be going to Perth by train shortly after Christmas and plan to be in the south west of WA for a while so please get in touch if you are planning a trip there and would like to meet up and/or ride with me.

With love

Pauline
