16/06/2013 Bullara Station

Packed up, refuelled checked car, 40litres drinking water, and took Marg to Learmonth Airport. We've had a great time and it's sad to say goodbye. I'm heading to Bullara Station then plan to make my way to Paraburdoo (aboriginal name for white cockatoo), Tom Price then Karijini National Park. Won't have phone coverage until Paraburdoo, maybe 3-4 days away.

Bullara Station has a variety of great outdoor bathrooms, with wood fired water heaters they call the 'donkeys'. It's $13 per night. Checked out the old shearing shed.

Shearing Shed, Bullara

I pitched my tent as I think I will stay a few days. Might go into Coral Bay for a swim and snorkel. Only 60km each way. The red dust is all around. These are the colours I came to see.

Good bunch of people around the camp fire. English guy John makes great damper each night for everyone. Damara sheep that look like black goats joined us for drinks around the fire.

Happy Hour, Bullara Station

Cooked dinner on wood BBQ. Windy night.
