Rolling Adventures Pauline's Adventures

10/06/2013 Cape Range NP - Kurrajong

AUSTRALIA | Monday, 10 June 2013 | Views [345]

Windy overnight and windy in the morning. Went to visit Dave, Al, Graham and Bruce again to get some info on Karijini. Thanks to Greg next door who showed me how to repair a puncture using the same type of kit I have, and how to use my jack

Then packed up and headed off to Oyster Stacks for a snorkel. Had to go in off the rocks and time it right. Great snorkeling. Saw lots of fish and coral and followed a graceful Green Turtle for ages which we filmed with Marg's underwater camera. Difficult getting out on the rocks and got a few bruises. Both exhausted.

Shared a camp site at Kurrajong so we could put up the awning between the cars for shade. Had lunch and a rest then a nice swim at the Kurrajong beach and walked out a long way towards the surf as it was shallow. Went for a look at the Mandu Mandu Gorge at sunset and decided to come back early in the morning to do the gorge walk.
