Route 66

My grandfather visited San Francisco just after World War Two, his vivid memories & description have made it no.1 on my travel destination.
The opportunity for me to go and experience the city & learn the history would be a dream come true. The Golden Gate bridge , one of the most iconic buildings in the world, would be my first stop. Then onto to Alcatraz Island to witness the ghostly atmosphere.
