I believe photography is about opening your eyes to everything around you and using a camera to create a memory but also bringing others into that one moment. For me this isn’t looking at the obvious but trying to find those things that you walk past everyday, the small things you miss because we don’t open our eyes to anything and everything around us. When you capture that moment forever and it really means something that is when you know you succeeded.
I am very new to photography, having bought my first SLR a matter of months ago. As such i am still very much getting to grips with the camera and trying to learn. My passion for photography has just grown and grown. Transitioning from hating having pictures taken to looking forward to travelling to new places, trying to discover those images, or moments that inspire and interest me. From walking into churches to landscapes that define natural beauty or spotting an interesting face. My aim is to develop further, using travel to build a solid and varied portfolio with my goal being to host my own exhibition, looking to become semi-professional. As such this is an amazing chance to grow and find the photographer i want to be.
