The first time I set foot at the famous Puerto Princesa Underground River of Philippines, I was enchanted by its beauty. The unique 8.2 kilometers underground river and was once the longest in the world is breathtakingly beautiful! The amazing karst of limestone formations making it next to none! The connection of coexistence between human and nature is truly fascinating. It's a spellbinding experience and spiritually meaningful one. For me, it's a true wonder of nature!
I am submitting this entry to promote human awareness why nature should be respected. Nowadays, many forests were already exploited because of human greed. Unknowingly, we abuse other life beings right to existence. Unconscious with our deeds, we destroy homes of other forms of life beings. The world is God's gift to mankind to share. Everything is available for us in order to live. The earth is aging. Our generation must protect what we have today to have a sustainable life tomorrow.
I strongly believe that photos are one way of communicating. Expressing your thoughts, opinions and outlook in life. Sometimes, photos are eye opener of the things around us that needed much care and attention. I love nature. I love outdoor activities such as long hikes, climbing, camping and spelunking. I am adventurous but safety always comes first. I listen. I am a flexible and a coachable kind of person. My love for photography is immeasurable. I'm willing to wake up very early to hike or have a boat ride just to shoot the sunrise. I don't hesitate to explore and discover new things. I want to share how beautiful the world is. Through my pictures, people who do not have the ability and capacity to see the world can travel with me.
