I was born in Rome and as a kid when asked what I wanted to be growing up I only had one answer:"I want to go with Piero Angela and take all the photos of those beautiful places.
I was lucky enough to have a dad who would take his little girl shooting with him and teach her the beauty of this world through a lens,its history,secrets,stories,feelings.From then,photography's been the love of my life.
Dreams don't put a roof over your head,though.After 3 years of uni+evening job I became a speech therapist.
But my craving for adventure and discovery never faded:I went to London and fell in love with an English guy.My perspective of life completely changed.
Now I want to follow the dream I've been suppressing for too long.I want to make the most out of the wonderful world we get to live in,absorbing as much of it as I can in this neverending learning process we call life.I want to pass its stories and marvels on to other people like my dad did with me.I want other kids to dream about the Savannah or awe in front of a big blue whale on a magazine.
Winning this scholarship would make my lifelong dream come true in a moment of my life where I need faith,hope and strenght more than ever.
