My name is Penny and i am from Greece.I have studied landscape architecture and now i am working on telecommunications.
All of my life I used to be a person who always wanted to learn new things.Photography became my passion 3years ago.As an emotional character,first was the thing that i wanted to capture moments with friends and family.
Photography makes me see world within a different angle.Gave me connections with people otherwise i couldn’t even met them.
What i hope to gain from this experience is the opportunity to learn habits of people there,the way of living,their difficulties and life from inside.Most important think is the chance to get into photography in real situations.
When a viewer looks at a photograph of mine,i don’t want to stand in the obvious.I'm trying to create a short story that gives food for thought to anyone who sees it.I am a collector of moments.And these moments am trying to impress on my photos.Have soul and feelings and not just be a photograph.
That's why I think that I would be the most appropriate person to capture Oman moments in this scholarship.I want people overtake the obvious moments of Oman and feel the soul and the heart of this country.
