Languishing at Lakeside

The next days were spent slacking around Pokhara. Visited the Mountaineering Museum (very modern and worth the time), Green Pastures Leprosy Hospital (lots of great work being done in facilities that are nothing like Alice Springs Hospital) and untold cafes for cold coffee. It is very easy to get into the Lakeside Leisure thing!

Got the Swiss Travels bus to Kathmandu on Tuesday 12 June. The driver was exceptionally good - he backed off when things were coming the other way, used the horn sensibly at blind corners, didn't rev the engine hard or jamb on the brakes. This guy must have owned the bus. Phil even had room for his legs. This is the best 350NRs ($7) bus ride we have ever had. We would thoroughly recommend this company to other travellers.
