My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
India | Thursday, July 4, 2013 | 3 photos
I am 28 years of age, out of which, for ten years, I have been working in youth and music journalism, which has recently evolved into travel writing, works in translation and project management in rural development.
I have always lived in Serbia, speaking Hungarian as my mother tongue, Serbian and English as a second language. So far, many countries of Europe and Asia (India and China) have opened their doors and have let me to peep into their culture.
I travel to learn who I am on this planet, why I was born to this one particular place and to realize why I come home every time. Travelling makes me appreciate my birthplace, my culture and identity to much greater extents.
In my photos I try to capture life energy. To make a shot that lives, and speaks. This is when I know a photo works. Whenever I am about to make that one click, I have this on my mind.
I feel that this scholarship would give me the opportunity to further broaden my, so far, limited knowledge in photography, to find and document the energy of life on Greenland, and to learn more about myself, and to have a deeper understanding about the nuances of life.
Have a lot of good light, my dear friends!
