Frozen in Denmark

ARGENTINA | Thursday, 28 May 2015 | Views [216] | Scholarship Entry

Love moved me away from my home. I was in Buenos Aires, ready to have a new journey, when I found out that the girl of my life was in Copenhague, so I went there. It was february, and of course, winter. The hardest one I've ever felt.
The city was white, really white. Even those green roofs that have been there for decades. I couldn't believe how people was biking so easy, my ears couldn't take any more of that weather. But they didn't care. I was alone there, the language was really different, and of course, that didn't help me at all.
But I finally met her again. It was a long time since the last day that we spent together, but that "something else" still was there. The city got warmer. The frozen lakes were amazing to see, and I even rode a bike.
That, of course, untill she introduced me to her boyfriend.
