I have decided that I cannot leave Vietnam without going to Sapa and further north and seeing more minority people and their spectacular dress. So today I have organised to extend my visa and have postponed my flight back to Bangkok - yay! The new plan is:
Tomorrow - go on a group tour to the Perfume Pagodas just out of Hanoi
Tomorrow night - overnight train to the north on a tour with 3 other people from Singapore on a tour to Sapa, surrounding villages and 2 ethnic minority markets - yay!
Then I get the overnight train back to Hanoi on the Sunday night and arrive back in Hanoi in the early morning of 3 Oct.
Then I will go on a group tour to Halong Bay for 2 days, one night, so I get back on the afternoon of 4 Oct and then fly out that night to Bangkok!
