What age am I? 2 things again.
1. Teachers at work keep calling me Ma'am or even Madam. I absoulutley know it is a sign of respect but it is also an age thing. The staff are are mostly younger than me but until I heard them carry on saying Madam after they knew my name I hadn't noticed. Oops.
2. Then there's the Internations ex pat group event I went to in a bar a couple of days ago. I thought oh I probably won't have much in common with the others as they will all be grown ups- rich, snobbish Oil or IT or bank execs. Wrong, wrong and wrong. Interesting on the whole with jobs ranging from other volunteers to arts and music oil and venture capital bods. but guess what -at least 70% of them were younger than me!!! I am a grown grown up! When did that happen???
