Kissed in Kampala

It was night and I found myself surrounded by the absolute beauty of the city. At the Entebbe airport, I had been asked to go into a certain office for them to check me. Knowing fully well what we have to go through the immigration of most countries because of my Nigerian passport, I resorted to getting visa before travelling to Uganda. I didn't wait to get visa on arrival. Even when I got to Entebbe, they were not sure of my purpose of trip. My visa sticker was on my passport; the Consular Officer at the embassy of Uganda also wrote the reason on the visa and there I was, struggling with these officers. Where is your invitation? They ask me. I don't have it printed, I reply.
