My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

An eternal nomad at heart. My batteries are charged in knowing there is a next place to go to and a new experience to absorb. The thrill of the unknown and the knowledge that it will bring me, makes me feel so blessed.
My heart was captured with the small country of Cambodia in South East Asia. Not only for the awe inspiring rural landscapes but the people and its children. The open energy of these spirits is a person in its purest form. No worries of material needs or of what they don't have but a focus on what is there and community living.
The experience has changed me forever and I feel so grateful that a journey I started out on turned out to be the biggest lesson of my life.
The series of photos I have chosen to present show moments - moments of fragility, playfulness, curiosity and thought, given so freely by the children of Cambodia.
So with a back pack close by and my camera in hand, to be continued...
