My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Egypt | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 5 photos
For me, photography is not only a hobby; it is a life style. Photography truly touches all aspects of my life. It influences my social life, my educational decisions, my career planning, and it entirely fills most of my spare time.
Curiously and imagination consistently drive me to take better shots. When I was young it was quite obvious that I was obsessed with photography; thankfully, I received my first camera on my 6th birthday, which I delightedly kept till today. Since then, photography gradually started to fill more area in my life. I use all possible means to develop my skills. This includes books, video tutorials, 101 courses, observing famous photographers’ work, and most importantly, allocating more time for my camera and me.
Since I am just in the start of the 1000 miles road, I’ve given myself a chance to try all types of photography. I’ve tried portraits, conceptual, &street photography. I firmly believe that a photo can change the world. Although I was not born during its time, we all know how the photo of the young Afghani girl – Sharbat Gula – has truly inspired the world. I believe the world around us is full of similar stories waiting for us to bring them alive.
