My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Nawal. I am 27 years old and I love taking pictures where-ever I go. I work as an English teacher at Salalah College. I have been around, to attend conferences and summits and my small pink camera was my best friend on these trips. I lived in America for nine months and I visited 11 states. I enjoyed taking pictures for the people, nature and all the adventures I had there. I have done skydiving, snow-shewing and hiking. I love the outdoor activities.

My love for the camera started when I was young. I live in "Taqah" a small town in Dhofar, Oman. Taqah is surrounded by a beautiful beaches and mountains. I always loved to be out there and take pictures for the sunset and for the beach and to see the reflection of the light on the pictures was so amazing. From that point, I kept taking pictures and just admire them. I just want to learn more and I want to be more confident with the camera.

I have been to Egypt, USA and some of the Gulf countries and I have thousands of photos from these places, most of them I post on my Facebook account.

I really just hope, I can get this chance to be in this scholarship and I am sure that I can learn a lot from all of you.
