Started my trip in England, seems to be becoming a tradition. Stayed with Morris for the first weekend when I landed, Han and him arranged for a few of my friends to come down from uni to suprise me, which was ridiculously nice. On the sunday night I stayed with han and her family in Yateley where I learnt that her brother ben (who will always be 5 years old to me) is not only in College but also learning to drive!!!! it makes me feel incredibly old and terrified to be on the road where 5 year olds are driving.
On the Monday I headed up to Birmingham to see Sarah which was so nice especially considering I hadn't seen her for at least 2 years. My mum always used to say that you can always tell your true friends when you haven't seen them in a long time but when you meet it is as if you were with them yesterday. That was defiantly the case with me and Sarah. I spent Monday - Wednesday in Birmingham (which I fell in love with even though I didn't get to see much of the city) I was on her Uni radio show that she does every Monday with 2 friends, got to see her sister and talked on the phone with her mum, caught up on her ever expanding amounts of boy drama, met her room mates and basically had a really nice few days.
Wednesday it was down to Bournemouth to see Hannah at her university. I met a bunch of her friends (all of who I out drunk in centurion, very proud of myself) went out one night, did a little shopping but really just hung out and caught up. On the Friday night Morris came down as well, Sev was supposed to but he had a date so ditched last minute. I made him feel incredibly bad on the phone before forgiving him and then felt bad that he felt bad. Headed back to Morris' on the Saturday and went to the reading football match against Southampton (1-1 but good game) Ed came back to Morris' after the game so got to see him to which was nice.
Convinced Morris on Sunday to drive me down to Eastbourne to see my family. We went for lunch at the local Carvery and then for a cuppa' at my aunts house. It was lovely to catch up with them and I got to see all my cousins wedding photos which was great.
Monday. Lunch with Morris then up to Edinburgh to see Chutter. Edinburgh is amazing, really beautiful, Tuesday took me on a walking tour of the city, which was great, we went up to Glasgow one of the days with her german friend Rebekka, and met up with Kesia there. feels like all I did in Scotland was walk but it was the perfect way to see the cities. It was also nice to see where Tuesday lives (even if it is up 10 flights of stairs) and meet her friends, so now when I read her blog and hear her stories i actually know what she is talking about!
