My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Luiz Felipe. From small taste of photography. I live in a favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is a place rich in images and stories to tell, so I thought: "It would be great to show the world what I see through my lens." And every day I go in search of the best picture. One day, I attended the exhibition of the photographer Steve McCurry and to see the photo of the Afghan girl Sharbat Gula, I thought: "One day I will have my photographs displayed and someone like me will quit hours admiring the picture, and who knows, wishing the same thing.
