I was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. People say that every second person there is a photographer or beleives that he is one. The opportunities seem to be high, but concurence is higher.
Faculty of Photojournalism at Photojournalists Union in Saint-Petersburg gave me a basic knowledge. My dream was to become a travel photographer, but I never knew how to start, where to go. There were too many people with just the same desires. So I just ran in a stream of other novices, trying wedding shootings, lovestories and all stuff like that.
Last year I decided to give up it all to become a tour guide in South East Asia. Mostly because this job could give me an opportunity to stay with local people, explore and expierience their life, getting deeper and closer and take pictures that I've always wanted.
There are way too much images around now. They sound like noise to me, giving no opportunity to stop and take a breath. But the one who has real voice, one who knows what he want to say still can make a difference, huge changes to better life for other people!
I want to be part of it. I know what I want to say but my voice is still not loud enough. Please, teach me how to speak!
