Student Heaven

Have you ever caught yourself in the situation when you are totally tired of everything that is going on around you - your work, your surrounding, just anything starts irritating you?

That is what happened to me, and I found a solution to that - applied for the Master studies in Graz, Austria!

The first week I came here, I understood that I am going to love this place.

Now why do I claim that this place is a heaven for students? Simply because it is a student city and it has a huge number of young people.

Even though it is not a very popular tourist area, you can find people from all over the world here - starting from the nearest European countries - Germany, Italy and ending with Mexicans.

It is a good combination of rural area and the city where you get to in 15 minutes by bike.

There is Opera, Theatre, a couple cinemas , and surely the most popular Modern Art Museum in Europe. So if you are person, concerned with Culture and discovering culture, this place is definitely for you.

To top it off, the student city is a student city - there is a tremendous amount of parties going on, and if you are a party animal - you will never get bored here.

For the music fans, there is also a great amount of chances to enjoy the shows of the favourite bands, if you are a rather alternative fan. Or go dancing to all kinds of DJ sets.

Yet, sometimes the time to study does come , and the most perfect atmosphere for that is the magic university library, it is not only a great place to get some knowledge into your head, but it is also feels like you are a part of the Harry Potter movie.

And when the spring comes, there are wonderful chances to chill in Stadpark with a couple of your newly learned friends! Or go up the Schlossberg to enjoy a superb view over the city.

This is the first time for me to become a real European student, and the first time to live the student life the way it is. Even though I got my Bachelor degree in Kiev, I never had time to enjoy the student life the way it is due to constant non-stop rhythm like working and studying, it does tire you no matter, what you do.
Travelling to Graz opened some doors in front of me, that is why I totally recommend to relive this experience.

Enjoy life, travel to Graz! :D
