My Photo scholarship 2010 entry
Worldwide | Monday, October 11, 2010 | 5 photos
Photography has been a hobby since I was very young, but I started to take it more serious when I finally understood that it could express more than just a beautiful landscape or a happy family gathered for Christmas. And this I found out when I started traveling. A photograph helps you to express your mood, the way you see the world, the feelings of the people in the portrait, a moment that should certainly last and be shown.
Traveling had opened my mind to people and cultures, and photography helped me to express it.
As I am an Economist I think this also gives me a different view, certainly not so artistic!
I would be honour to go with Jason in the Bhutan Experience, doing something that makes me happy.
This year I had the chance to visit NYC. And it blew up my mind. I waited for this trip for a long time and the city was more than I already imagined.
NYC is movement, is the exact opposite of quiet.
People is always in a rush in Central Station, I guess few ones takes a moment to look at the ceiling, beautiful constellations are painted.
I learnt you can easily get harmed by a bike in Brooklyn Bridge. That`s because you always need to take the picture on the exclusive Bike Lane.
It`s beautiful to take a moment and watch the city from the top of a skyscraper. It seems to stop but you know it isn`t.
These are the pictures I choose for the Travel Photography Scholarship 2010.
