Gregory lake with its mystique demeanor enhanced by the discrete fog is the the cynosure in the heart of Nuwara Eliya town. Lately the lake has become quite a sensation with the launch of the sea planes. It is a tourist haven with such lovely paths for trekking, cycling and horse riding by the banks. In addition one could always indulge in kayaking, boat riding while treating oneself to local favorites at the wayside eateries.
