Unforgettable Moment

Travelling is something what I dream in my life. For me, can go to other city or island moreover foreign is a wonderful thing in my life, because I spend my time just at home or at school. Honestly I never go to other island except Java Island, island where my home town is. Although Indonesia, my country, is island state. Bali is the second Island which I visited after Java Island. Three years ago, I wrote poetry about Bali Island. At that time, my friend went to Bali for study tour. She was lucky because she had gone to Bali twice. I wish someday I can go there.

Deburan ombak di pantai Dewata begitu terasa
Walau mata tak ada pandang
Gelombang samudera yang menerpa terumbu karang terasa begitu mengiang
Walau nyataku mungkin tak sampai
Tapi anganku begitu liar berani menembus mimpi!!

Two years later after I wrote that poetry, I went to Bali Island. I went to Bali for attending the 3rd International Conference on Advances in Nuclear Science and Engineering (ICANSE-2011). Do you know how about my feeling? I felt I was dreaming. I remembered my poetry that I wrote two years ago. My poetry that I wrote tell about Dewata Island (Bali Island). Conference held on November 14 to 17, 2011 in Aston Hotel Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.
When you go to somewhere at first time or on vacation, you should go to special place and eat favorite food. During in Bali, I ate Ayam Betutu and Sate Lilit. They are very delicious. Ayam Betutu is a Balinese dish of steamed chicken. Sate Lilit is made from fish which is then mixed with grated coconut. Wound around bamboo, sugar cane or lemon grass sticks, it is then grilled on charcoal.
