My Scholarship entry - The summer time of the mountain.

I'm a traveller and a photographer. No, this is not true: I would like to be a Traveller and a Photographer. I would like to spend my whole time walking through foreign and unknown places, just looking at everything, to understand the life that grow in each small thing, and in landscapes, and to understand how different and beautiful is the life on this earth. I would like to meet an incredible number of people, know a lot of life stories, habits, ways of cooking, trying to understand how the human being lives his life adapting to the surrounding environment. And I'd like to be able to show all these discoveries to other people through photography, as if they were stories.

I took these pictures in the mountains surrounding my town, during a weekend hike. They tell of a world silent, slow and serene, which is developed by following the inexorable cycle of day and night and through the seasons.
