I am a TV journalist from Pakistan and a student of M.Phil in European Studies. I am an amateur photographer. Visiting new places, meeting new people and capturing those precious moments is my passion. I do it for the satisfaction of my inner sole without any monetary purpose. Exploring remote areas of Pakistan and showing it to the world has been driving force behind my photographic quest.
For a person like me who is not monetarily able to go on photographic tour to the places like Greenland, this opportunity is a ray of hope to go, see, work with the best photographer and get a first-hand experience is once in a life time opportunity.
For a photographic passionate and student like me this scholarship is a great learning opportunity where I will learn different niches of photography such as long shutter, fill light and framing.
I am doing my MPhil in European Studies and this scholarship will broaden the scope of my understanding of western world. A hand on experience is far greater than 1000 books.
I have chronic disorder in my left eye and half vision has been lost. my right eye is perfect. I want to see the world before, god forbid, if my right eye gets infected.
