My Scholarship entry - The Norwegian Beauty

I am a 4th year university student at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. I am double majoring in both Psychology and Anthropology. These past four years have been both wonderful and difficult. I have a experienced a lot of loss, and now recently a lot of gain. What I have learnt most in those hard times is to stay honest to yourself, enjoy what you do, and surround yourself with people who are going to make you a better person. Self-growth is what drives me, getting comfortable being uncomfortable is my most recent goal. I see this being an amazing opportunity to do just that. I am a very artistic person and choose to surround myself with beautiful things - paintings, photos, and people. I also have a hard time expressing myself verbally so photography and painting have always been a release for me. I enjoy working with colours and lines both in the paintings and photos I take. I think that I should be chosen because I enjoy taking myself on new adventures, and this definitely classifies as an adventure. It is also an amazing opportunity to learn from and work with an amazing nature photographer. Thank you!
