i suppose i could get bored eventually, but right now i'm thinking 'this is how i want to live from now on!'  i'm in the sumptuous Thai Aiways First Class Lounge at Bangkok - have been pampered and petted since i rolled up with little grey to the curbside dedicated to First and Business Class for Thai (TG)

god forbid you should stand at a counter to check yourself and your bag in!  no no, you sit in a beautifully decorated peaceful lounge area until a lovely lady comes with your boarding pass and a sweet man takes your carryon luggage so you're not burdened with it through the dedicated immigration area and then transferred to a golf cart to drive you past the business lounge to the First Class area - then you're plied with food and drink plus if one wants (as I certainly do) a Thai massage (options are head and shoulder, full body, and foot) - i said i'd like the full body if it included foot since i was too hot and tired yesterday to have one done in the neighborhood of house by the pond - so they've booked me for full body AND foot!

just finished a little snack of small sandwiches - smoked salmon and shrimp - yum yum

how can i arrange to move into this place?!

btw am now on a long shlep from bangkok to tokyo on the red eye, connecting there after 5 hours to the Airbus 380 flight to Singapore - my lovely checkin lady thought it was a weird thing to do even to experience the A380 but then she brightened up when i told her this was a contest prize - made her day

My goodness, what luxury daahling! Am so enjoying reading your present life. And as for cooking for the very first time, now you have got over the shock, I expect a dinner a la Nancy at Font Xiquita when you come. Lots of love, MPHD xx
