A Journey into Laos

My Scholarship entry - Raz Al Jinz Turtle Reserve

Tourists congregate around a nesting endangered green turtle(chelonia mydas) at Raz Al Jinz Turtle Reserve, Oman, just after sunrise. Thousands of sea turtles migrate annually from the shores of the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, and Somalia to lay their eggs on Oman's shores, and the turtle reserve is one of the only places where the public is able to witness their nesting process.
