My Scholarship entry - Temples of Sashimi

Neither photos nor videos will satisfy me. I want to see, hear and feel the world as it is - so much real, so much surreal. My dream is to take on the globe one city at a time, from one country to another, a continent to the other. If I can only walk the entirety of the earth with a pair of shoes, I'll spend every moment of my life taking those billion steps. Twenty five years, thirty one cities, eleven countries, thousands of faces, innumerable finds and countless memories. I'll capture the wonders of this planet one road trip, one cruise, one flight, one luggage at a time.

In the Amazon, there is just so much to see, so much to hear and so much to feel. If I were to be chosen for this once in a lifetime experience, I am bringing with me the passion to take those snaps which speak and touch and show more than what meets the eye. I am not a tourist or a photoblogger. I am simply a traveler who wants to see the world as it is - so much real, so much surreal.
