Indonesia is a country with a lot of beautiful sites. I happened to had a walk in Cicalengka (west Java, Bandung) and found these beautiful scenery of the living around the railway. First i captured a picture of a moving train with rice fields around the place, and it was one of the best views that people can expect from the country sides. The fog was captured which made the picture feels more dramatic. The second picture is also showing a train moving around the railway with great views of rice fields. In the third picture i found a sense of innocence, hard work, and simplicity. In the picture a man was taking along his son to deliver composts that would be used for crops by a bicycle. The road that they took might not be the safest choice, but it was the only available and faster way to get.
The fourth picture is a shack which was built around a pool of water. The shack seemed only being used for fishing or a resting place from a hard day work. The last picture shows two elementary students waiting to cross the street as the train is crossing. It is a common thing in Indonesia, that the doors of a moving train is not closed, and some people were just not care for safety and stand beside the doors.
I was starting to take pictures from 2005 using a digital camera. Camera is one crucial thing that i need to bring because I traveled a lot to places such as mountains or forests (I am a bachelor student majoring on Biology). After saving my money I finally managed to buy an SLR camera and have been using it since. I used to go hunting for pictures with my fellows to places, and practicing, discussing shots, and just keep developing our interest. Photography is my passion and i find that this is an opportunity for me to develop even more. And combining it with traveling is one of the best way to experience the world.
