My photos here are from a trip to Myanmar in 2009. I have long been fascinated by this country and was amazed by the Burmese people and culture.

One thing that struck me was that despite how difficult life was, the people I met always had a warm smile on hand, especially the children, who have to start a working life from an early age.

Myanmar is also deeply faithful. Buddhism is ingrained in their culture so stupas, monks, prayer are everywhere.

In my photos I have tried to capture the beauty of Myanmar. Gorgeous temples and incredible people.
