One Person Who Inspires Me to Travel

I knew I wanted to make films when I was nine. The story of why I am not attending film school but studying mathematics is far too long and complicated for 1500 characters. However, I will take the liberty of quoting Ghandi when I say that action expresses priority. I found out about this scholarship very last minute and I am preparing my application two days before exams start at my university, instead of studying. Getting this would mean that I am right to have kept believing in myself despite the obstacles I’ve encountered so far and that filmmaking is my calling. Opportunities like these make me excited to live and work harder for what I want.
I've travelled a lot in my twenty years - with my parents and, now, with friends. I can't get enough. The second I come home, I start thinking of where I want to go next. Columbia would be a dream for two reasons: 1)America Latina has always been my dream destination that I've not yet gotten to visit and explore because it's so far from where I live; 2)My favorite writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez was Colombian and the way he describes it in his books has always made me feel like there is something magical out there, something unique, not necessarily tangible but something in the air, inexplicable and intoxicating; and something that I have to experience before I die
I also speak Spanish. I'm not sure why I mentioned that but it might be a plus :)
