I've visited Sarajevo during my studies in Croatia. I arrived early in the morning. I was welcomed by smell of strong coffee and cigarettes. The weather was cloudy, cold, the city was almost empty and it felt a little bit melancholic at the beginning. But people were nice and willing to help even if we couldn't speak the same language. I was impressed by old town which had a real atmosphere and looked like I imagined Sarajevo. The new town was very similiar to many other European cities. I realized that there were many wondering dogs all around the city. But I was nicely surprised when I realized that many people stopped by and gave them food, water or just cuddled them. Sarajevo impressed me in many ways.
