My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

With an offset in Copenhagen I frequently travel around in the northern countries of the world, often visiting Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Greenland. The northern nature can be as rough as it can be pleasant, but one exceptional thing is that it changes constantly. Nature is definitely the one thing I love and the place I search for motives. The calmness and originality of the nature always support scenery that can be so relieving and exciting at the same time.
I believe a picture is so much more than the memory of a moment. Concomitant with my studies in medicine at the University of Copenhagen, I explore the complex path between vision and memory as I have always been amazed by how a composition of light can touch so deep in our emotional system. How a single picture can set off multiple feelings.
For me photography is a passion that I use to describe a moment and evoke the feelings that relates to a picture in order to recreate a story with all its emotional perspectives. I have an enthusiastic, enduring personality and a will to work hard for my pictures. I love taking pictures of the nature and often combine it with adventures of my own.
