My name is Nicholas Wiesnet. I'm a cinematography emphasis at Chapman University in Southern California. I was born and raised on Vashon Island, a small community in Puget Sound, Washington. Vashon is primarily forest and I draw much of my inspiration in my artwork and photography from nature. I've always been fascinated by photojournalism and documentary and enjoy being on my own, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures in foreign places. I've been a competitive and open-water swimmer for as long as I can remember and swimming has taught me the importance of patience, which has proven invaluable in the field.
