My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I met photography, as a kid. My father had a old analog camera. He taught me the basics, and since then, photography is always somehow in my life.
I‘ve made school projects using my camera as a kid, i attended photo seminars and i‘ve spent some time in the dark room developing films, in the university as a student,
I always felt beautiful grabbing my (now digital) camera and going for a walk in the city. Always excited coming home to see what i‘ve captured.
And as i have grown up, i realized that photographing is a way to meet people, to get to know them close, and summarize a whole fascinating experience in some frames that you can recall afterwards.
After all there years i now want to advance my pictures, not only in technical terms but also in concept. Improve the way that i approach the subjects, to make my stories more alive, more exciting.
Photography for me is capturing the beauty that is everywhere around us and make other people see what you have see, and feel what you have felt.
In a few words I take photos, to catch the moments, to express ideas and thoughts, to share experiences, to communicate.

To freeze time, and keep alive what is really worth it.
