My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am from Perth, Western Australia. I first got into photography through my horses, my mum breeds Friesians who are georgous and i began by taking photos for the stud for advertising and sometimes for a bit of fun. I started expanding my photography by taking photos around my local town, a small country town by walking trails taking photographs. I do not often have the chance to travel but i did go to broome with a friend and her mum her who is also a very keen photographer, we ended up spending the majority of the week travelling around broome taking photos and exploring. In each photo i take i aim to capture something in the image, in every great photo there is a piece of it, a piece of the puzzle that makes it a great photo and a as photgrapher i try to find this and capture the moment into a photograph.
I would love the chance to be able to expand my knowledge in photography especially with a guide who i can learn so much from. Even having such a chance to travel outside of my own country to a place foreign to me and experience something new and to be able to capture it would be an experience alone.
