My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Indonesia | Saturday, October 9, 2010 | 5 photos

This was my journey to Karimun Jawa Islands, Central Java. a 6-hour trip by small boat from Jepara, was just worth as I stepped on the main island. At dusk, on a small pier, the west horizon was melted with the Leprechau's golden coins. An old man just came home from the sea. tell me, Old Man, have you brought the Giant Marlene?
The early morning as the dawn broke, the Dandelion Seeds were ready to start their journey: traveling across ocean to reach the land. And I made my own: taking a promenade on secret yet sacred space: pretty cypres-sided shore; the white sand covered my feet. Luckily, a shy shell came along and became my companion. The sea, the sand, and the sun were perfectly blended...

i'm an amateur capturer that loves journeys and voyages. i love the way the sun and the wind smile to me-the reason that i'm extremely jealous of national geographic journalists. my experience in photography is all about trial and error; i learn it myself, without any idea of the theory. i just enjoy capturing the beauty of this earth through my compact camera. of course, i'd be very delighted to have a chance to learn photography in 'real course' with a mentor, so i'd have better techniques and 'eyes' to capture. i do hope this will be a good reason to get this photography scholarship.
