Daily life of local communities in oil&gas in African regions

Italy | Saturday, November 22, 2014 | 5 photos

I am a 33 years old photographer who focused on daily life in Africa countries impacted by oil&gas industries. I did this since I discovered Africa during my work: I am economist dealing with local development programs in the countries where energy companies operate.
As a photographer I also worked a lot on urban suburbs and on the documentation of the territory in order to make people aware of some areas of their own cities which are next to us and unbelievably unknown. Working with Jason Edwards and with WWF would be very stimulating and I am sure the input I could take home would be many. I am also interested in doing this experience because as editor in chief of Witness Journal, the first Italian online photojournalism magazine, I could learn more about other aspects of photography. I also believe that facing wildlife and natural history issues would be much of a challenge because I do not consider myself as a wildlife photographer but there are lots of things to learn that can be useful in my documentary researches.
Besides what you can find on my website I am available to send you more information regarding my works.
Thank you.
