A Visit to Olympia

Days into the Euro trip, the history teachers of McAuley College had organised for their students, they arrived upon Munich's Olympic Park. The first step for the group was learn about some of the horrific events that occurred in the Olympic village, but all seriousness was immediately pushed aside when the sight of one of their teachers falling and rolling down a ramp had all the students in laughter. The teacher himself however, didn't find his trip at all amusing which left him a foul mood when not even his co-workers stepped in to help him quieten the bunch of laughing students. Soon the laughter died down and the group ventured off to tour around the rest of the park.
After walking for a couple of minutes the group came across some roller skaters that had drawn quite a crowd with their entertaining tricks. The crowd cheered and clapped as each skater pulled off their tricks successfully but soon it all ended when an unsuspecting child walked out in front of one of the skaters and was fiercely knocked down. The skater, of course, felt horrible and fiercely apologised to the child's parents thus ending all the entertainment.
The group then moved on towards the tower, where they all headed up to check out the view of the entire park from above. It was certainly a sight to behold. All around you could see the unique architecture of each of the building as well as the rolling green hills that spread out across the park. It was then that the cameras started flashing as they each tried to capture their our picture of the view.
After finishing up checking out the gift store at the tower the group moved on to make their way towards the tram to head back to the hotel. However, some students seemed to be still filled with so much energy that they found rolling down the small hills quite an entertaining idea. Who knew a bunch of 16/17 year olds could be so childish? Soon one of the teachers had to step in as the few students fooling around begun to hold up the group. As he approached the students however, the geese nearby didn't find him very welcoming and began chasing the poor guy which was received with a very big round of laughter by the group.
Collectively exhausted we made our way to the trams still laughing and talking excitedly about all the events of the day.
