I love telling stories.

I’m an aspiring filmmaker, with the added passion for photography. I’ve always tried to capture the essence of the moment, whether it is encapsulating the environment, the emotion or the interaction - or all of the above!

I find that travelling allows me to discover and create new stories to tell, but also to let me appreciate the immediate surroundings I take for granted when I’m back at home.

What I hope to achieve out of this scholarship is to further develop my skills of storytelling. With a more focused intent and being in a foreign and exciting cultural environment, this opportunity will be a pivotal moment in my photography “career”, and I will endeavour to make the most out of it if Jason Edwards believes that I deserve it.

My goal is to advance my photography skills to the extent that I will be able to earn a decent income from it - just enough to allow me to travel around the world with and for my photography and filmmaking. The more people I meet and the more cultures I encounter, the more I am inspired. From that, I hope to give back by inspiring and entertaining others too with the stories I’ve collected along the way.
