Moonrise in the Rosaveen Gaeltacht. The Gaeltacht are areas in the country where Irish is still spoken by the majority of the community. It is apparntly the official language of Ireland, although a minority of the population can speak it fluently. All public signs and buildings etc have signs in Irish and English, towns have their English name and their irish name, and in the gaeltacht it's not unusual to have signs written in Irish only
