Hello,

Photography is one of those areas, which provides endless opportunities to show the world from one’s point-of-view. It has an immense power through the eye of the beholder/viewer, and the photographer.

I’ve been involved with photography from an early age, but not developed it to a professional level, whereas I feel I’d be a lot more interested in taking the next step towards being a professional photographer than being in a boring role as I am now, less for the financials and a lot more for the actual genuine interest.

Believing that there is something interesting lurking in every corner, I don’t have a specific plan that “I’d only want to this/that specific". Travel is a great way of encountering it all and it’s no point in judging in advance what will be hot and what not.

I appreciate there is just so much more to learn and see and I feel I have the eye for capturing unique moments and the willingness to get my hands dirty for something interesting and if I was chosen as the recipient of the scholarship/workshop that would be a great leap towards this aim.
