Firstly let me introduce myself, i am Emma O’Keefe and i am 21.
I have a certificate four in fine arts my main subject was photography.
I have higher school certificate, certificate two in animal studies
I have always loved photography since i was young. And i want to show people the beauty of nature though photography.
For me this is a life time opportunity because I’m am not rich person and I have learning problem s
Art and photography and nature are the only things I have going for me.
I love to hike I have my bronze duke of Edinburgh and working on my silver. I’m up to a challenge.
I have lots of animals at home and have loved all animals my whole life.
I am influenced by Jason Edwards work and how he shows the beauty of nature in his work.
I read a lot of Animals guides, plant guides.
I read national geographic magazines, books and I watch the national geographic channels on foxtel as often as i can. Being a part of the national geographic team is a lifelong dream of mine I have done research on South Africa. Such as the big Five they are the most well known mammals in South Africa, the elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo.
My photos are of lockstock dam a place where I have been camping sine I was young.
These are of landscapes and wildlife around the dam and caravan park, this was like a wonder land were people and nature are one. Somewhere that people could be with animals and be at peace with one other. The bugs, birds and other animals are all connected as one with the earth.
