My name is Nathan Spear and I am 32 years old I grew up in Melbourne and moved to the gold coast at the age of 10. I was 19 when i got my first SLR an analog canon EOS 300 and although I really had no idea how to use it I went out to experiment. My photography was put on hold for many years and at the age of 28 I brought an EOS 40D and started to travel the world. I have now been to 15 countries and have taken tens of thousands of photos. I love to travel and take pictures because I enjoy the feeling of people looking at my images and feeling the same things that I felt when I was there taking them. I love the fact that my pictures give people inspiration to travel and see some of the most wonderful sites in the world. I love travelling to places that have different lifestyles and cultures, I love learning new customs and experiencing moments in life that I cannot put into words and hope that in some small way a picture that I have taken can let people experience these things to. If given this opportunity I will strive to learn as much as possible and implement everything I learn into my photography with the hope that one day I will be able to have a career in the industry.
